For Savage 99 questions, the best thing to do is to head to www.24hourcampfire.com, create a free account and post a question in the Savage Collectors Forum. There’s a very knowledgeable group of folks there, and it’s normally a very friendly forum. About the only “rule” we have there beyond a request to be polite, is to not post links or info to live auctions on the internet.

* Facebook has an active group called “The Savage 99 Club”. Don’t try to buy or sell guns there (or talk about buying or selling guns or even use a $ sign)… Facebook absolutely bans it.
* Mewe is another site with a Savage 99 Club, and unlike Facebook you can advertise firearms for sale.
